Have We Met

Wondering about Me...

This is my family and these are my stories.

I started my career in the financial world at the age of 18 working for one of the big banks. I quickly became one of the younger people licensed to sell mutual funds in Alberta. I not only sold investments but also focused on lending, in particular secured lending. I studied both political science and economics at the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan.  I taught briefly with the Saskatoon Public School Division and have had the privilege of staying home to raise our 3 daughters.

I was married in my early twenties and convinced my Albertan husband to move to Saskatchewan and we have never looked back!

People in Saskatchewan are friendly and down to earth. It’s a great place to raise a family.

Yes! Saskatchewan winters are long but get yourself a snowmobile, a pair of skates or some cross country skis and have fun!

haven't heard enough...

Life is made up of experiences and they shape who you become. Here are a few of mine…

I was born in Saskatoon but my family later moved to Calgary.  I was fortunate enough to spend my younger years in the mountains, hiking, rock climbing and ski racing. As a member of the Calgary Rowing Club I had the opportunity to compete across Canada and sport dominated the majority of my later teenage years. It taught me the value of hard work, and helped built my foundational beliefs of dedication and perseverance.

As a mother of three beautiful girls and wife to a very busy professional I understand what it’s like to be pulled in all directions.  Our family travelled the country following my husband throughout his 16 years of post secondary education so I’ve had my share of renting, moving, buying, renovating and selling homes. We’ve moved our entire household 14 times in the last 20 years of marriage!  I love my family and have become quite passionate about volunteering.  I have recently served as the Vice President of the Saskatoon Suzuki Strings and also as the Registrar of the Saskatoon Dive Club where I proudly received an award for “Volunteer of the Year”. Volunteer boards have allowed me to realize that I love collaborative environments where there is a common goal.  My other passions are fitness and art.  I have had the opportunity to show my art in several joint exhibitions and art shows.  My love for painting and design naturally lends well to marketing and content creation. I have also built and designed websites for non-profits and corporations and I am currently focused on photography and video-editing.  It is a great outlet for my creative passions!

I look forward meeting you and hearing your story,
